Its International Health Care Center provides English-speaking dental services and multilingual interpretation for patients from overseas.
Yonsei University Dental Hospital is a tertiary university dental hospital in Sinchon, Seoul, and part of Yonsei University Health System. Its history reaches back to 1915, when an American missionary dentist established Korea's first dental clinic, and the institution has since been associated with many milestones in the country's modern dentistry, including the early introduction of prosthetic and orthodontic treatment.
As the largest dental hospital in Korea by size and capacity, and the only dental institution designated as a Medical Research Center by the Korean government, it combines high-volume specialized care with academic and research leadership. Care is organized into dedicated departments across all areas of dentistry, each led by board-certified specialists, which allows the hospital to manage routine treatment and complex, multidisciplinary cases alike.
For international patients, the hospital's International Health Care Center provides English-speaking dental services, with interpretation available in languages including English, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese. The center can provide an estimated cost of treatment on request and coordinates appointments and referrals across the wider university hospital. The hospital also operates a dedicated dental center for patients with special needs, reflecting its emphasis on accessible, comprehensive care.
