I highly highly recommend WOOA clinic for breast augmentation and rhinoplasty !!!! I spent a long time researching where I wanted to have my breast augmentation done. I’m from Vancouver, Canada, and before deciding on Korea, I had looked into clinics and surgeons not only at home, but also in places like Miami, Colombia, and Turkey.
Ultimately chose Korea because of the level of specialization in plastic surgery, the techniques available, and the results I was seeing from Korean surgeons. WOOA was one of the clinics that consistently stood out during my research, and I also knew several people who had personally had surgery there and had great experiences and results. That gave me a lot more confidence going into such a big decision.
Connecting with Julie Rhee and the Kora team back in Canada during my deciding phase were incredibly helpful throughout the process. They gave me detailed information about the different procedures, helped me understand what to expect, and made sure I was prepared for both the pre-op and post-op process before I even arrived for surgery.
My experience at WOOA itself was amazing. One of the biggest things I appreciated was how attentive and organized the entire team was. Having two surgeries at the same time could have been extremely overwhelming, especially being in another country, but the staff made me feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire experience.
For my breast augmentation, my surgeon was Dr. Young Ji Park. He was incredibly kind, reassuring, and skilled. After first consult we decided on Motiva implants using the triple-plane technique, and I genuinely LOVE how my breasts look. They fit my body beautifully and the result is exactly what I wanted and looks natural as well and fits my body well I love how my clothes fit and look on me.
Something that surprised me the most was my recovery. I expected breast augmentation recovery to be much more limiting, but personally, by around day 5–6 I was already moving around well enough to explore Korea. Obviously everyone’s recovery is different, but mine was much smoother than I had expected!!!
I also had my rhinoplasty with Dr. Lee and I’m so happy with that experience as well. My surgery went very smoothly, and I was shocked by how little bruising I personally had afterward. Even early in the healing process, I could already see the changes taking shape while still feeling like the result suited my face rather than completely changing who I looked like. It was a subtle change I was going for and he did just that!! Just 8 days later, once cast was off, my nose was already good shape and no additional taping required.
Another thing that really separated WOOA for me was the aftercare. Surgery wasn't treated like the end of the experience. I had followup consultations and multiple doctor checkups, post surgical care while recovering, oxygen treatments, radiofrequency treatments, and continued monitoring throughout the healing process. Everything felt timely and structured, and whenever I came back to the clinic I felt like the team genuinely cared about how I was recovering.
The hospital staff were also incredibly attentive immediately after surgery and everyone is so kind, when I was obviously at my most vulnerable and uncomfortable. Having people checking on me and helping me through those first stages of recovery made a huge difference, especially after having two procedures at once.
I think what I appreciated most was feeling that there was a full system around the surgery from consultation and planning, to the surgeons themselves, to the hospital care and all of the follow-up treatments afterward. As an international patient, that level of organization gave me a lot of peace of mind.
Looking back at how many clinics and countries I considered before making this decision, I’m genuinely so happy that I ultimately chose Korea and WOOA.
I absolutely love my breast augmentation results, I’m so excited about how my nose is healing, and my overall recovery experience has been much better than I expected. A huge thank you to Dr. Young Ji Park, Dr. Lee, the entire WOOA team, and Julie and the Kora team for taking such great care of me throughout such a major experience.
For anyone considering plastic surgery in Korea, especially if you’re traveling internationally like I did, I would absolutely recommend putting WOOA on your list of clinics to research and consult with!!!!!
