Chi-U is equipped with the technology needed to handle diagnosis, treatment, and fabrication without outsourcing. A dental CT scanner provides detailed 3D imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, a dedicated TMJ therapy device supports care for jaw-joint disorders, and Q-Ray fluorescence technology aids early detection of tooth decay and plaque. An in-house 3D printer allows the clinic to fabricate restorations on site, enabling same-day laminate veneers and same-day crowns that normally require several visits.

Dr. Hye Yun Heo is a dentist specializing in prosthodontics and esthetic dental treatment, serving as Medical Director of Gangnam Chiyu Dental Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul. She completed her dental degree at Chosun University School of Dentistry and her prosthodontics residency at Chosun University Dental Hospital, followed by doctoral coursework in prosthodontics. Her advanced training includes an implant program at Seoul National University School of Dentistry and the Advanced Education Program in Esthetic Implant Dentistry at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She focuses on esthetic restorative care, including veneers, crowns, and teeth whitening.

The clinic is really clean and welcoming and I feel like it's brand new building. From my past experience few years back when I visited Korea for dental treatments, I honestly felt a bit chaotic with barely any doctor interaction but this clinic actually took the time to explain what procedures I needed and gave solid recommendations. I promise promise she is the nicest doctor I've ever met. I've already recommended this place to my friend and she loved it!!
I know clinics get super busy but Dr. Huh and the staff took such good care of me while I was in the chair. I felt completely comfortable because they walked me through everything before doing it. She thoroughly explained the procedure and showed me what outcome I could expect from the whitening procedure by showing me the before&after pictures. 100% recommend, I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Korea!!
