Dr. Jung's Dental Clinic is an oral and maxillofacial surgery and aesthetic dental practice in Jeju, established in 1989 and now in its 36th year. Run by a father-and-son team, the clinic holds more than 30,000 cumulative implant cases, and its treating director is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and former clinical professor at Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital at Gangdong. As Korea's first clinic to join the partner program of Ivoclar, a premium dental materials company, it works with authentic, high-quality materials such as IPS e.max. An in-house digital lab completes everything from diagnosis to prosthetic design and fabrication within the clinic. As a registered clinic for international patients, it offers direct English consultation with the director and Chinese-speaking staff on site.

About this clinic

Dr. Jung's Dental Clinic4 logo
Dr. Jung's Dental Clinic is a dental and oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Jeju that opened in 1989 and has remained in the same location for 36 years. Now run by a father-and-son team of dentists, the clinic combines decades of continuity with more than 30,000 cumulative implant cases. Its treating director is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who previously served as a clinical professor at Kyung Hee University Dental Hospital at Gangdong. This surgical background allows the clinic to treat cases that combine oral surgery and aesthetic restoration within a single, unified treatment plan, rather than separating the two. A defining feature is the in-house digital lab. With a milling machine and 3D printer on site, prosthetics are designed and fabricated within the clinic rather than outsourced, which lets the team control materials and quality from start to finish and shorten the overall treatment time, an important advantage for patients on a short stay in Jeju. As a registered medical institution for international patients, Dr. Jung's Dental Clinic provides direct English consultation with the director, with Chinese-speaking staff on site. The building itself was designed for dental care from the ground up and has received an architecture award, so the entire treatment process takes place in a quiet, calm, and stable environment.

Our Difference

What sets Dr. Jung's Dental Clinic apart is a rare combination of surgical expertise, in-house fabrication, and material transparency, delivered by a father-and-son team with more than 30 years in one place. A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon designs both surgery and aesthetic restoration together, an on-site digital lab keeps the entire prosthetic process in-house, and the clinic openly shares the materials it uses.

1. Minimal-Prep Laminate Veneers

The clinic first designs the finished smile virtually, then removes only the tooth structure that specific design requires. In most cases the front surface of the tooth is largely preserved, and depending on the material, veneers are fabricated in-house to a minimum thickness of as little as 0.1 mm, following a minimal-reduction principle.

2. Implants & Full-Arch Reconstruction

Since opening in 1989, the clinic has built more than 30,000 cumulative implant cases. Its board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon personally performs even higher-difficulty procedures, including sinus lifts and bone grafting.

3. Aesthetic Prosthetics (Crowns & All-Ceramic Restorations)

The clinic works primarily with lithium disilicate materials such as IPS e.max, selecting the right material for each case, and completes everything from design to fabrication through its in-house digital workflow. As an Ivoclar Partner Clinic, it uses authentic materials and discloses them to the patient.

4. Professional Whitening

An in-house whitening program is available to improve the natural shade of the teeth.
